bio
Since graduating from DeMontfort University (Leicester - United Kingdom) with a 2:1 (B.A. Hons) in Graphic Design in 1995, I have obtained new skills and gained extensive experience working in a broad range of creative environments and market sectors.
I started out as a graphic designer in 1996. During the early part of my career I worked at an in-house design studio producing business-to-business advertisements, brochures, catalogues and technical support literature for a large electronic component distributor.
In 1998 I moved to become a production/design manager for a digital print company. During this period I ran a small design studio and managed the production of two digital presses.
I was senior designer in 2001 for an events management company producing event support literature for many large sporting events including; Six Nations Rugby, Cricket World Cup and CISCO Matchplay Golf Tournament.
From 2003 I have been working freelance under the name of theassociates. During this period I have been involved in a vast array of projects including; large corporate re-branding exercises, CMS and E-commerce websites, devising on-demand print solutions and working on monthly journals. I have worked for a diverse range of clients servicing the following market sectors; Finance, Law, Health, Publishing, Restaurants, Sports, Science and Tourism.
In September 2009 I started teaching English part-time at the ECV (École de Communication Visuelle) Aix-en-Provence. I teach 10 hours a week to first, second and third year students. You can see examples of lessons I have prepared here: teaching articles.
